Not to mention that the extension on the rear wheel arches looks more trendy. These AutoTecknic carbon fiber rear wheel arch extension sets utilize the original mounting location. They are skillfully made in 3K twill weave carbon fiber by our master craftsman for the perfect aesthetic and fitment.

Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name also comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to cure appropriately. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method.

If you're adding 20" or larger wheels AutoTecknic recommends adding these trim pieces to avoid the spray from the wider rear tires. It can be added to any F90 M5 for a sporty look and provides a minor improvement in stone protection for the rear bumper.
