The FABSPEED DYNO developed MAX-FLO COLD AIR intake system vastly improves power throughout the rev range and adds a sporty intake growl to the engine note. Constructed with aircraft grade 5052 Aluminum for strength and durability. The  heat shield keeps out hot engine bay air, reducing intake temps on track and on the street. The conical air filter increases the filtration surface area also dramatically improving flow over the factory convoluted panel air filter system. ANY and ALL Porsche 986 OEM intake systems are absolutely terrible and great limit airflow to keep engine induction sound as quiet as possible hurting performance. 

Note; due to the limited availability of the carbon fiber heat shield, the system will be shipped with either a carbon fiber or a powder coated aluminum air filter heat shield.
